The Oldcastle Agricultural Show—one of Ireland’s largest & most vibrant shows—is back on Sunday, July 20th, and we’d love for you to be part of it!
Held in our beautiful showgrounds at Gilson Park, just a two-minute walk from Oldcastle town, the show attracts over 5,000 visitors each year. With endless attractions & exhibits, it’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase your business to a wide & diverse audience.
Our packed schedule includes events & competitions across livestock, equestrian, dog, & domestic arts, including All-Ireland Championship Finals & Qualifiers. It’s a cultural & commercial celebration of rural Ireland. We offer a fun-filled family day out featuring:
A pet farm
Live music with Irelands top wedding band – The Mad Ass Mules & Jive Dancing Competition
Vintage & farm machinery displays
Sheep shearing competitions
Food, craft, & an array of trade stands
Free children’s entertainment, including face painting & puppet show.
There will also be a visit from Sam & his remarkable Birds of Prey display!

To qualify:
Your business must have been established since Oldcastle Show 2024
You must be based in County Meath or within 20 km of our showgrounds

A copy of the public liability cover indemnifying Oldcastle Show is required.

The exhibitor shall comply with all current laws, including the Safety, Health, and Welfare Act and the guidance issued by the Health and Safety Authority about it. The exhibitor will follow all directions from the site safety officer. All exhibitors will be responsible for preparing and implementing their health and safety statements, emergency plans & procedures, crowd management plans, fire plans, and other responsibilities necessary for a company exhibiting at a public event. Extreme caution must always be practiced, especially in the livestock area.
Stand Space: The exhibitor shall ensure that all marquees, ropes, signs, and other equipment are always kept within the stand space. The exhibitor is not permitted to sub-let, transfer, or share a stand space. Any activities that could infringe on the rights of other exhibitors must be avoided. The exhibitor shall ensure that no damage is caused to the site within the stand space.
Site: While every effort will be made to accommodate exhibitor space requirements, the final allocation and location of exhibition space will be at the discretion of the show management. The exhibitor shall report to the trade stand supervisor at the gate on arrival to be shown the precise location of the stand space. No cars, trucks, or vans may be parked in the exhibition area during the show unless it is within their stand area.
Full Documentation: No application will be processed without all the necessary documentation and information (including insurance and indemnity forms) being forwarded before the closing date, July 17th. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION DOES NOT GUARANTEE ALLOCATION OF SPACE.
Litter: The exhibitor shall ensure that their stand space is always tidy and be responsible for properly disposing of any litter. The exhibitor shall leave their stand space completely clear of litter; please use the bins provided. The exhibitor shall restore their stand space to its original condition. The exhibitor shall become liable to pay a fine of €200 for breaching these litter clauses. We suggest you take a picture of your stand before leaving the area.
