The ISA & Castleblayney Show presents the following:
RULES & CONDITIONS
Each exhibitor will bake 3 items:
a) Carrot & Pineapple Loaf (2 lb loaf tin), b) Tea Brack (7” Round), c) 4 Plain Scones
- The Items to be displayed as one exhibit on a base of 2 ft 2 ft.
- Points will be awarded for texture, taste, and presentation.
- Competition is open to amateurs, & one tray to qualify per exhibitor.
- All items are to be homemade by the exhibitor.
- In the event of an objection & following an investigation & if the exhibitor is deemed to be making their living from their profession, they may be disqualified.
- A SuperValu flour wrapper is to be displayed with the exhibit.
- A special qualifying class will be held at selected shows.
- Two trays may qualify for the final if judges agree that the standard is high enough.
- The judge’s decision will be final at all stages of the competition.
- Exhibits are displayed at the owner's risk.
- An exhibitor can only qualify one exhibit for the All-Ireland final
These rules should be read in conjunction with the ISA Rules. Each of the successful qualifiers will receive a memento on appearance at the final.
